Artist Builds Amazing F1 Race Car From Matches And Then Sets It On Fire
When it comes to art, there are so many different ways that people choose to express themselves, bringing beautiful creations to whatever canvas it is that they see fit whether it be an actual canvas, some sort of sculpture, or maybe even something a little bit more abstract. This time, that medium is coming in the form of a sculpture that is composed completely of matches. It’s a little bit obscure, but when you see the end product, you’ll probably find yourself in amazement that somebody was able to take something so simple and convert it into a piece of art.
It’s quite mesmerizing to watch as each and every piece comes together, making this Formula One race car come to life as these small matchsticks are combined together to create each and every piece individually before assembling them all together and bringing us to an end product that looks a lot like the real-life version of itself. I would’ve never thought that, by using all straight pieces, that someone could create such a design that has so many curves in it so accurately.
While the end product is a lot of fun to look at and definitely took a lot of work to put together it all goes down in an instant. Shortly after assembling the Formula One car entirely out of matches, a duty that probably took a lot of skill and planning, they immediately set it on fire.
Watching it burn is equally as frustrating as it is entertaining but I guess that just adds another layer of an artistic outlook to this project as it comes to its final stages when it’s set ablaze. Be sure to check out the video below that shows the construction and destruction of this beautiful work of art all within five minutes or so and tell us if you would’ve set it on fire after it was all done coming to life.
