Big Chief battles Murder Nova at Northstar Dragway in Denton Texas

In the world of drag racing, the names don’t get too much bigger than the likes of Murder Nova and Big Chief, the guys who started off small but took their craft seriously enough that they could rise through the ranks and shine bright in the big time.

We have seen them go through so many situations and go head-to-head with some of the best drivers that the world has to offer and this time, we get a little taste of what it’s like when that two go head to head with each other.

Chief and Shawn strap on the gloves and when the proverbial open bell rings it’s time to throw down in the eighth mile. Chief’s car boasts a substantially higher trap speed but Shawn ends up making it a good race by cutting one heck of a tree in Murder Nova.
