BIG TIRE No Prep RACING At Ozark Raceway Park Will Get Your Blood Pumping!

Ozark Raceway Park in Rogersville, Missouri has been putting on some of the best no prep races we’ve seen over the past year or so. While they may not get the attention that the Redemption and Dirty South No Prep series get, they have certainly shown that they can draw some big name cars and a crowd to watch the action. And when it comes to the unprepped track playing the part of the equalizer, it certainly seems ORP has a knack for keeping it slick.

This video from our friends over at Urban Hillbilly Action Videos captures nearly 9 minutes of some badass big tire hotrods doing their best to tame the track and get to the other end ahead of the competition. Some of these are cars that we are seeing for the first time, proof that the no prep game is still growing despite many detractors’ claims that it had peaked or even begun to decline.

A big part of the reason Ozark’s program is growing is likely their ability to keep the track fairly slick, as you can see very few of these cars launch hard and make full 660’ passes under power. There has been many a complaint about no prep races having a little too much traction, especially as the event goes on and the cars put down more rubber and traction compound used in the burnout.

At Ozark, however, the track doesn’t seem to get too much better despite round after round of big tire cars ripping down the track.
