Blindfolded NASCAR Pit Crew Does Pit Stop in “Bird Box Challenge”

Every couple of months, social media will be set ablaze with everybody sharing in the latest trend. It just so happens that one of the most recent trends is the Netflix original release of the movie Bird Box. Without spoiling too much of it for you, essentially, the plot has Sandra Bullock navigating her way through a treacherous maze with lots of enemies all while wearing a blindfold. Some love it, some hate it, but the undeniable fact is that this thing has been lighting social media absolutely on fire recently.

In fact, the movie has been so popular that it has even inspired a collection of spinoff challenges known simply as the “Bird Box Challenge.” Essentially, the concept follows the main plot of the movie, requiring that the participants do a variety of different everyday things all while blindfolded. If this sounds like a ticket to a rather dangerous situation, well, that’s because it definitely could be. We’ve become used to seeing other crazy happenings unfolding in social media and we get the feeling that this is about to be a little bit of more of the same.

By following along with the clip below, you can follow the Bird Box Challenge as performed by Chip Ganassi Racing as the pit crew attempts to pull off an entire pit stop, all without using their sight as they’re all appropriately blindfolded. Keep in mind that there are plenty of people out there who wouldn’t even be able to come close to pulling something like this off with full access to all of their senses. It just makes a successful attempt all that more impressive. Will they be able to pull it off without a hitch, though?
