Bola De Humo’s Mazda RX7 loses Steering, Eats Wall after Near Miss with Boddie
When it comes to racing, literally anything and everything could happen on race day whether via equipment malfunction, driver error, or a mixture of both.
This time, when Bolo De Humo’s Mazda RX-7 went toe to toe with Boddie’s Pontiac Firebird, the race would veer through twists and turns of epic proportions.
Straight off of the line, Boddie’s bird would play the part of a wild child, lifting up the front end multiple times before finding it’s mark in the groove, at which point the RX-7 would lose control.
It looks as if the car had some sort of steering malfunction, causing it severe in front of the Pontiac and head straight for the wall.
Luckily, it doesn’t look like any major damage or injury occurred, but that was enough to make all parties involved sweat a little bit. If Boddie had a clean launch, this story might have turned out differently.
