Boosted GT -vs- Flying Door – Redemption 6.0 No Prep
There was plenty of wild and crazy action at Redemption 6.0, but perhaps nothing was crazier than when this nitrous G-Body slung a door across the track and nearly hit BoostedGT in the other lane.
The two cars laid down their fresh rubber then staged up and left hard when the green light dropped, with the G-Body toting the wheels and getting out to a nice lead against Boosted’s turbocharged Mustang. As the nitrous ride extended his lead over the struggling Boosted, the driver’s side door is suddenly ripped from the car and goes flying across the track, right in front of his opponent, coming to rest in the left lane.
From the starting line camera, you hear Boosted’s girlfriend Kayla exclaim “That’s illegal”, which poses the question: If a part flies off your car and crosses the centerline, is that grounds for disqualification, or does it only count if the car itself crosses? Feel free to discuss in the comments if the G-Body should be disqualified or allowed to continue to the next round.
