CNC Machine Fails Expensive Accidents
In this day and age, it’s truly incredible what we can accomplish with the tools that we have right at our fingertips. With the days of everything being manually done moving further and further behind us, we are really able to operate with some incredible precision as computers take over for certain processes. One of these processes just so happens to be with a CNC machine, a machine designed to cut and shave metal so that you can get to an end product that makes sense for your application. These things are used all over the place in the automotive industry to make parts work as best they can!
While these machines might provide you a consistent and accurate result most of the time, it turns out that they aren’t exactly foolproof. Every once in a while, even these machines that are designed to do what the human hand can’t, end up making a mistake, doing some damage to what might be expensive parts and pieces. I’m just imagining these things trying to port a set of heads, only to make a small little error which ends up costing thousands of dollars. That most certainly wouldn’t be good!
Follow along in the video below that shows off a collection of CNC blunders that might make you cringe a little bit on the inside. I’m sure that these kinds of mistakes aren’t very common but, when they do happen, it really ends up hitting where it hurts! A lot of the situations look like they ended up being pretty darn expensive to go out there and repair. After checking out this collection of CNC Situations gone wrong, be sure to tell us which of the bunch you find to be the most cringe-worthy. As the operator, this has to be a moment that makes you grit your teeth.
