Crew Cab Don’t Care – Boosted Sierra/Silverado is No Slouch!
Most of the non-diesel trucks we see on the drag strip are single cab haulers, with the occasional extended cab thrown in the mix. However, once in a while, somebody will throw some performance upgrades at a crew cab to see how well the bigger pickups handle the quarter mile.
This one handles it like champ, thanks to what sounds like a pretty sizable turbocharger and some sticky tires. We don’t know much about the build itself, but the not-so-subtle intercooler and the unmistakeable whine of the compressor spooling give away and potential sleeper role this truck may be trying to play. The deep 12 second ET’s also spoil the sleeper plan.
We can’t deny these are some impressive numbers, especially given he size and weight of this hulking hauler. Thanks as always to our friend BigKleib34 for bringing us this excellent footage from Streetcar Takeover
