Deep Cleaning a Decimated Junkyard Truck Bought DIRT Cheap

If you’re willing to put in a little bit of work, it’s definitely possible to find a deal out there no matter what you’re shopping for. For example, in the automotive community, there are all sorts of rides out there that are just looking for a little bit of love and if you’re willing to apply that love to your purchase, you could get a pretty steep discount on the price.

This time, though, we check in with a machine that definitely looks like it needs a little bit of professional love, inside and out. We aren’t talking about attention from a mechanic, either. Instead, we’re speaking of professional detailing assistance. With the level of crud, no matter how much one scrubs at this thing, if an amateur were to go at it, there would likely always be more dirt that finds a way to show its face. However, with the will to get the job done, experience, and a decent set of detailing tools along with some patience, perhaps this completely filthy junkyard find could be revived back to life once again.

In this particular video, we check in with YouTube creator, The Detail Geek, who has become pretty well known on the platform for helping out some of the dirtiest vehicles that he can possibly find. When he gets his hands on these cars and trucks, our host proceeds to strip them down inside and go at them with the best tools in his collection. When all is said and done, some of these machines are almost unrecognizable from the state of apparent decay that they were in when they came into the detailing shop.

Down in the video below, we check in with the truck that definitely needed some serious attention when it came to cleaning. When all was said and done, though, we have to say that watching this Ford come back to life was incredibly satisfying.
