This time, we check out the situation that takes a big block drag racer to the track. DNR Auto was on the scene as “Dirty 30” would be piloted down the racing surface. This time, though, the beefed-up rat rod wouldn’t be driven by the owner, Nick Plewniak, but instead, his girlfriend, Maddie. That’s the level of trust that many couples will never truly be able to get to. For most people who build an impressive machine like this, they won’t let anybody get behind the wheel of their pride and joy.

What we see in the video is none other than Maddie’s first couple of passes down the strip. It’s quite the jump to go from never having driven down the strip to wheeling a machine like this. I guess that if you’re going to learn, you have to learn somehow. This time, it just so happens to be behind the wheel of a twin-turbo big block powered machine.

Now, we know what you’re probably thinking. A beginner behind the wheel of a machine like this probably is bound to be no good. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Instead, we watch Maddie wheel the rat rod down the strip with complete confidence. When all is said and done, she now has a little bit of experience to add to her record.
