Escalade is Built to Hurt GT500 and Corvette Feelings!!
Sure, when you’re looking to go fast in a big way, you could build something that is tried and true. For the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Corvette owners of the world, they can attest to that one cookie-cutter formula that is guaranteed to make them go fast and there’s really nothing wrong with that at all. There’s a reason why there are so many of these sports cars out there running around – It’s because they simply work!
However, even though having the perfect formula to go fast is always a good time, sometimes, it’s more interesting to see what happens when somebody beefs up a vehicle that wasn’t originally meant to go fast. This time, we get just that in the family hauler to end all family haulers.
In this big BigKleib34 video, we ride along to Race Proven Motorsports dyno day out in New Castle, DE where all of the hot rods are coming out to show off but the one that really stole the show was not other than a Cadillac Escalade. Fitted with a couple of basic parts and the supercharger off of a Cadillac CTS-V, this SUV is really ready to rock. The owner tells us that it’s a little bit of a mix of a tow pig that can turn on the race car switch whenever that gas pedal is dropped to the floor.
Ride along in the video below that will show this Escalade going head-to-head with both a Corvette and a Shelby GT500. You might think that, because of the weight behind this SUV, that it would be a little bit of a slouch but when you see it race these two cars, you’ll soon find out that this Cadillac has no trouble holding its own out there.
