Fast And Furious 9 Has Pushed Back It’s Release Date By A Year Amid Coronavirus Scare
It appears as if, the spread of COVID-19 is going to end up affecting just about every industry. At first, it would appear as if only events that had major gatherings would be shut down and rescheduled. However, it has come to our attention that all sorts of peripheral plans have come to be moved as well.
One of those plans it seems that come out of left field is the pushback of one of the biggest movies of the year. Fast and Furious 9 that was scheduled to come out this May is actually going to be delayed just about a year. The official release date is now April of 2021.
The Fast Sage went to Facebook to relay a message to fans. They simply didn’t feel as if all fans would be able to get to the theater and watch the film safely. We would assume that some of this has to do with the gatherings of people needed to distribute the film in addition to the fans.

“To our family of Fast fans everywhere,
We feel all the love and the anticipation you have for the next chapter in our saga.
That’s why it’s especially tough to let you know that we have to move the release date of the film. It’s become clear that it won’t be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film this May.
We are moving the global release date to April 2021, with North America opening on April 2. While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration.
Moving will allow our global family to experience our new chapter together. We’ll see you next spring.
Much love,
Your Fast Family”
