Finnegan’s Twin Turbo Jet Boat Flat Out Rips!
As we fully immerse ourselves into quarantine, some of us are finding it harder to find projects to do than others. Let’s just say that some folks have probably had to get a little bit creative in order to entertain themselves. There’s a lot going on in this world and we all need to find something to get away from it every once in a while. This is especially true for those who don’t currently have a job to get to.
As it turns out, for content creators across the web, many are still fortunate enough to help out those at home. It turns out that that job intertwines with the current condition of people needing an escape. One way to escape from the current conditions is to sink our teeth into the projects of others.
Luckily, for those looking for a little bit of automotive entertainment, Mike Finnegan is in the middle of a wild project. Over the last couple of episodes, we have watched as he has put together a twin turbojet boat, piece by piece. It turns out that creating something custom like this is a lot easier said than done. Therefore, much of the action has been in ironing out the wrinkles in the build.
The Big Payoff!
Just about anybody who has tuned in to the build is probably dying to watch the Hemi powered rocket go wide open. This time, we don’t quite get to full potential. However, we do find a situation that is almost there.
In the most recent test session, Finnegan is able to crack open the throttle to the tune of about 90 mph or so. That’s absolutely flying on the water!
He does say that the boat isn’t completely done yet. However, the current state of affairs is enough to send a chill down the spine. If all of this awesomeness is packed into a boat that’s not 100% finished, just imagine what it’ll be like when the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed.
