The First Ever 2020 Supra Rebuild Series is Already Under Way
For those who have been in tune with the automotive section of YouTube, they might’ve noticed a trend. A couple of channels have popped up that take diamonds in the rough and convert them back to diamonds once again. We’re speaking, of course, of the subset of channels that has decided to restore damaged vehicles.
These aren’t all necessarily old vehicles, either. In fact, most of them are newer cars that have met some sort of untimely fate. It’s interesting to watch and see how they’re reconstructed along with learning about how much something like this can cost. At the end of the day, not only will folks learn how to wrench on vehicles by watching these videos. They’ll also learn if it’s worth taking a car like this and restoring it instead of just buying a new one.
If there’s one car that we didn’t expect to see on this sort of series so soon, it would be the 2020 and beyond Toyota Supra. Considering the fact that the calendar hasn’t even met 2020 yet, it’s a little bit concerning that one of these cars has managed to end up in the junkyard already. However, if the Albon crew has anything to say about it, the vehicle won’t remain in junkyard condition for long.
By following along with the video below, we get to join in with the story of the already wrecked 2020 Supra. This car might’ve not lived a very long life before getting tangled up in a bad situation. Hopefully, it will be able to be revived from that bad spot once again, though. We’re certainly excited to see some progress made with this one. The brand-new nature of the car might just make a project that’s a little bit more challenging.
