When Rescuing A Stuck Ford Goes Catastrophically Wrong
For those who have ever done it, rescuing a truck from a predicament where it’s become nice and stuck is easier said than done. While it might seem like the person pulling the truck out just hooks up and guns it, that can be a good way to do some damage. Without knowing the proper procedure, a simple task can end up getting rather expensive. This is why, for those who aren’t quite sure, they might be better off linking up with a professional. There’s no shame in admitting that we don’t know everything. Calling the pros might be expensive, however, ripping whole front end off a truck might be even more so.
This time, we check in with a Ford F-150 owner who certainly wasn’t helping out the matter. It looks like the driver got nice and stuck as he attempted to work his way free on the beach. However, despite all of his attempts, the truck managed to dig its way all the way up to the frame rails. As this was a situation where the owner didn’t see himself freeing the truck, they enlisted the help of another truck to drag it free. However, those involved definitely didn’t practice quite the right sequence of steps as things would end up spiraling into a pretty bad situation.
We join in for the scene on the beach that day as the Ford would attempt to be snatched out of the hole. However, as the truck doing all of the pulling got a nice little head of steam, when the strap tightened, apparently, whatever it was holding onto wasn’t all that solid. It almost makes us cringe as we watch the whole front of the Ford fly into the sand. This is certainly going to be one that the owners of this truck are not going want to have to deal with. At the end of the day, though, sometimes we have to play the cards we’re dealt.
