Free Horsepower Fuel Injector Experiment Angers YouTube Fans, but Does it Actually Work?
When it comes to just about any modification that you do to an automobile, many times, there is more than one way to skin a cat. Even while working on the same platform, you will more than likely find that you can go about doing the same thing in a variety of different ways whether it be choosing one brand over another or maybe even electing to pick one price range over another. Heck, some modifications might even be free and still allow you to pick up a couple of horsepower along the way, really showing people that you can stretch a budget a long way as you attempt to make as much power per dollar as you possibly can.
This time, we take the time to check out a modification that has been around the block more than once. The process is known as “injector decapping” and essentially takes the lid off of an injector, opening up the hole more and attempting to allow it to release more fuel. While some may argue that this could damage the efficiency of the injector, others will tell you that, when done right, it’s an easy way to get yourself more fuel flow for nothing more than the cost of getting the injectors cleaned and flow tested to make sure that you’re getting the most efficient combination possible without doing any danger.
However, this time, when a simple injector decapping session got underway, viewers seemed to get a little bit angry, claiming that this modification was nothing but a farce that and that this video could be dangerous for people trying to do the same. However, results and research to back it up said otherwise, proving that this method could bring you an efficient set of fuel injectors for a relatively cheap cost, just a fraction of what you would otherwise pay. After following along with something like this, be sure to tell us if you think that injector decapping is a process that you would get involved with if you wanted the fuel to flow even more.
