GTO Couldn’t Get Traction In The Snow, Cop With A Ram Bar Came To The Rescue
For somebody driving down the highway on two separate days, one where snow is covering the ground and one where it’s bright and sunny outside with no precipitation in sight, it could be almost like an entirely different world. Sure, it might be the same stretch of road but when it really comes down to it, the way to grapple with each situation is completely different. This is why some folks will make big parts of their automotive purchases surround the ability for a vehicle to be able to get around, no matter what the conditions might be.
With something like a Pontiac GTO or really most rear wheel drive sports cars, driving in snow isn’t exactly a strength. For most, they would probably elect to stay home on days like these. This father, however, who we would later find out had just recently become a father to a newborn was on his way to the hospital. He wouldn’t take “no” for an answer as the road conditions got downright brutal. Unfortunately, though, before he would be able to make it to the hospital to support his wife and child, the snow would get the best of the vehicle that he says was the only one available to him at the time.
Luckily, for this Pontiac owner, he wouldn’t need to dial up a tow truck to come and rescue him but instead, a police officer would come to the aid of the driver. This one might just make car enthusiasts cringe as that back bumper is going to need some love after the way that the police officer put that push bar right up against the back of it and helped the car to get down the highway. However, sometimes, you’ve just got to do what you’ve got to do and getting to the destination is a little bit more important than worrying about the paint on a bumper.
