Brake Master Cylinder Heat Shield: Stop Boiling Brake Fluid

When it comes to putting together the perfect engine bay, there is a lot to think about. Sure, creating good power with go-fast parts is paramount. Cleaning everything up and having something good to look at could be important to some enthusiasts, too. However, something that sometimes falls by the wayside is being able to extract heat. In turn, it is one of the easiest ways to make more power. It might also be one of the less expensive methods of modification. All of those power adders aren’t going to live up to the investment if heat is destroying the end result.

So what is one to do if they have a little bit too much of a heat issue? Well, when it came to the Build For Brain Cancer for our buddy, Kristian, it turned out that too much heat was a problem. We found it to be a crucial area of focus. In fact, things were getting hot to the point where brake fluid began to boil. If there’s one thing that is certainly unsafe, it’s brake fluid turning into gas and evaporating.
