If a Car Salesman Asks You These Questions, it’s Time to Shut Up!
While we firmly believe in the saying that tells us not to judge a book by its cover, sometimes, it’s good to be skeptical. Personally, I am firm of the belief that one would be right to question just about everything that they come in contact with. This is what helps people to make smart and informed decisions in their everyday life.
For example, when it comes to car salesmen, there’s a reason why they get a bad reputation sometimes. Don’t get us wrong, there are tons of good car salesman out there but a lot of them just want to do one thing and one thing only – sell you a car. We definitely can’t fault them because it’s their job to get a customer behind the wheel of one of their cars but sometimes, the tactics that they use might be just a little bit manipulative and could talk a customer into something too expensive that they don’t even want.
Think about it this way- the fewer cars they sell, the less likely they are to be able to put food on their own table.
This time, though, we join in with a car salesman who is willing to divulge upon some of these secrets to really help out. He isn’t just out there spitballing, either, as a lot of these things are tactics that car salesman use in every single transaction in order to try to talk their target into buying a car.
At the end of the day, purchasing a vehicle is something that one would be better to approach with a little bit more knowledge on how the opposition is going to work. At the end of the day, not every situation is going to end up being you versus the car salesman but in all likelihood, that’s probably going to be what it is. When we really break it down, their job is to get every dollar that they can and your job is to not give it to them.
Thankfully, guys like Chevy Dude can step in to help out in these sorts of predicaments.
