Latest Episode of “Sorted” Puts Cars to the Test – Time Attack in 107-Degree Heat
Riding around somewhere out there in the world, there is a perfectly balanced car. Now, this is definitely going to be a definition that changes from person to person. However, I think that many of us here in the performance community can agree that there are certain traits that a balanced car will have.
For example, this well-balanced car is going to be able to perform well no matter where it is driven. For example, the machine won’t give the driver a problem if they want to head to the mall. On the same token, though, this car could quickly be taken from the highway to the track to make a couple of laps.
Unfortunately, in many situations, modifying a car might mean robbing it of one capability in favor of another. However, with episodes of Sorted, we attempt to get to the bottom of this equation to find such a well-balanced machine.
This time, we check in with some of the final tests that the West Coast cars are going through. For those who are new here, they might want to check out Rob Feretti’s YouTube channel to catch up with the action. For those who are up to speed they should know that, after this episode, the best of the east and the best of the west will throw down to figure out which car is truly sorted!
In the final leg of the challenge, things get rather intense. Those who have been behind the wheel high-performance machines tend to figure out that heat can definitely be an enemy. That’s certainly the case here as we line up the competitors in the 107° desert for their final test.
Down below, professional wheelman, Tanner Foust, isn’t backing down, even though it’s incredibly hot! In this one, the competitors will be put to the test to find the fastest time attack lap and the fastest flying lap for the cars. The winners are on our way to the grand finale!
