LEGO Fans Can Now Build Toretto’s “Fast and Furious” Dodge Charger
Over the years, let’s just say that the simple building blocks known as LEGOs have definitely evolved. From simplistic sets to incredibly complicated models that even have all sorts of different licensing, LEGO really encompasses a lot in their products.
In fact, the brand is even hooked up with some of the biggest film franchises to have ever existed. Some of these franchises include Star Wars and The Fast and the Furious. For those who are a fan of either, there are different LEGO creations that can be built to replicate what you see on screen.
This time, we check in with a Fast and Furious creation that really gives us all sorts of nostalgia. The item in question this time is none other than the Dodge Charger that fans of the series likely know and love, no matter which movie is their favorite.
LEGO says you can “Give fans of Fast & Furious the ultimate thrill with this LEGO® Technic™ Dom’s Dodge Charger (42111) building set for kids and adults. Based on the iconic 1970s Dodge Charger R/T, it’s packed with authentic details. The opening hood reveals a model version of the iconic V8 engine.”
Apparently, they’ve invested a lot into realism, claiming “Other cool features include moving pistons, wishbone suspension, steering system and air blower. There are even nitro bottles in the trunk to bring Dom’s daring high-speed chases to life. Just like the real thing!”
Down in the video below, we get to see a familiar face come to life in a very different way. Even though I’m sure most of us would probably rather add the real deal to the garage, I’m sure that a machine like this would make a pretty good substitute, especially given that it’s only about $100 at a variety of retail stores or Amazon.
