When it comes to having a collection of toys, there are two things that generally prevent people from jumping in feet first.

The first factor that we can think of is the price. This is definitely a limiting factor that will kick some folks out of their dream toy collection. If one went to the store and just started buying things, they could probably rack up quite the tab in a hurry. Unfortunately, we don’t all have unlimited cash flowing from our wallets. If you figure that one out, we’d love to hear more, though.

Second, having lots of fun motorized toys is going to need to come with some mechanical know-how. For those who don’t want to go out and buy something brand-new, they’re probably going to have to wrench on it in some capacity. Even if they aren’t building it from scratch, some sort of maintenance is probably going to be necessary. Lucky for you, though, these are abilities that can be learned by going out there and giving it a try.

This time, we tune in with a motorized drift trike project that is a good place to start. With the help of some basic tools and pretty common components, famed internet experimenter, Colin Furze, is taking this one on with a full head of steam. When all is said and done, this looks like the project that we could definitely see ourselves trying to take on in the garage.
