Man in a Wheelchair Built This Badass Hand Controlled Hot Rod

The gang at Hoonigan is back with another Daily Transmission, this time featuring an old-school hotrod with a twist!

Corey Caouette is a fabricator who decided to build himself a 1927 Dodge coupe, which Caouette transformed into a pickup, and since he is in a wheelchair, the car had to have a custom hand control setup, which Corey talks about in the video below. The Dodge was built on a strict budget and comes in around $6,500, which is ridiculously cheap for a 400 HP hotrod that looks great and runs even better! There’s a small nitrous kit hooked up as well, in case the LS1 needs a little help in the form of artificial atmosphere!

Check out the details, especially the custom brakes and eBay headers, as well as Corey’s trip to the back yard for donuts! This is one cool ride that features some really nice touches and some creativity that only a fabricator can create!
