Meet The Deadliest Roads In The World
If there’s one thing that can definitely make life seem better, it’s a little bit of perspective. Living in America, there could definitely be times where the best of us can find a way to lose that perspective and take for granted some of the amazing things that we have available.
One of those luxuries that we don’t often think about are the roadways beneath us. Sure, in some areas of the country, the roads might not be the best, when compared to others. Perhaps, the surface is cracked and filled with holes in areas that are neglected. However, no matter how beat up the blacktop is, it definitely is a luxury compared to some areas of the world that are downright dangerous to drive through.
This time, we tune in with a documentary that takes us along some of the most dangerous roads in Argentina. Let’s just say that hitting a pothole is absolutely nothing compared to what some of these drivers have to go through on a regular basis.
From driving through rising water to the risk of falling over a cliff, some drivers can’t be certain that they’re going to make it out of their job alive. This is compounded by the fact that a lot of vehicles they’re behind the wheel of aren’t exactly mechanical masterpieces. Not only are the machines a little bit dated and beginning to age but the drivers even have to maintain them as they go. As it turns out, driving through water or in extreme conditions isn’t exactly a positive when the vehicle beneath you is falling apart.
Down in the video below, we get a first-hand experience of what exactly something like this is all about. The next time you find yourself complaining about being stuck in traffic, perhaps thinking back to this sort of situation will put things in perspective a little bit more easily.
