Monti Fitzgerald’s Big Tire Nova vs “TheGreenGo” Malibu $2,000 Grudge Race

If drag racing is your thing, nothing is better than a good old-fashioned grudge race. Sure, things might get a little bit more complicated when money is thrown into the mix and when you know that there’s something a little bit more substantial on the line to shoot for, it really makes the competition that much more intense. Drivers really kick it up a notch because not only is money on the line, but also bragging rights are at stake as well which might be even more valuable in this dog-eat-dog world.

In this one, Bay Area Racing brought us along for a $2000 grudge race between Monti Fitzgerald’s Big Tire Chevrolet Nova and “TheGreenGo” Chevrolet Malibu. To say that this one puts you on the edge of your seat would be an understatement. The Nova most certainly used every last inch of the racing surface as the car skated around and tried to hunt down that finish line.

From the start of the race, it looked like the Malibu had it in the bag, but that view at the finish line is a lot closer than you might have anticipated as it tells an entirely different story!
