One of the wild things that we constantly grapple with is that anyone who wants to get behind the wheel of a boat can do so. They allow individuals to operate a vessel with an incredibly low bar. You don’t even need a license in most cases which is kinda a little bit terrifying.

With that in mind, it’s absolutely no surprise that there are a wide variety of people out there who can’t handle certain situations when it comes to boating. While some might think that such an effort is akin to driving a car, driving a boat, while somewhat familiar feeling to a car, provides its own set of challenges that can be tough to handle for the inexperienced.

Because of this, when it comes to dangerous or tumultuous situations, like those that can pop up at Point Pleasant Canal in New Jersey, there are frequently boaters who end up toeing the line between getting their vessel back home safely and sinking it.
