Murder Nova Takes 2700 Mile Road Trip in a Donk
What is the real definition of a “streetcar?” The term is thrown around all the time as it is slapped on everything from factory performance vehicles to cars with wheelie bars. Surely, there has to be some sort of real definition. At the end of the day, the term is usually stretched out as far as possible to be used as a bargaining chip in grudge racing. However, we think that somewhere, there is a machine that most would agree on fits into the category.
What would a car look like that would be the most widely regarded as a streetcar? It would have to be something so capable of driving on the highway that very few could argue with its well-roundedness.
For the likes of Murder Nova and his 1975 Chevrolet Caprice Donk, we would think that there isn’t much arguing with its streetcar capabilities. This time, he shows us just that as he drives the cars to a Cash Days event. Driving to a racing event isn’t necessarily all that uncommon. However, this particular drive just so happens to span 2500 miles. There aren’t many people who are driving their car that far before throwing down in a race.
On the 187 Customs YouTube channel, Shawn takes us along for the ride with this rig sitting on 26s. Along the way, they combat all kinds of interesting situations including a couple of car troubles. No matter how upgraded it might be, a car that’s 45 years old is likely to throw some interesting scenarios your way when driven that far.
By following along below, we get to tune in with the action. Sure, the trip might’ve thrown the guys a little bit of adversity. However, it might be argued that sometimes it’s more about the journey than the destination. Mark this one down as another chapter in the book of shenanigans delivered by 187 Customs.
