NEVER use tire shine AGAIN! Try THIS instead.

Something we can all appreciate is a clean car, and we all love tips for making that process easier or better. YouTuber itsjusta6 just happens to have a couple of tutorial videos on his channel that offers some solid car care tips and tricks. You can see by looking at his Mustang that he definitely knows what he’s talking about when it comes to keeping a ride looking pristine.

This particular video is all about a semi-secret product – I know I had never heard of it, but several of the commenters backed up his praise for this stuff – that works wonders for making your tires shine beautifully. For whatever reason, you won’t find it on the shelves, you’ll have to ask one of the counter salespeople to grab you a can from behind the counter. It’s called Cover All and it works like most tire shine products, such as Armor All, which most of you are likely familiar with.

One significant difference is that Cover All, given a few moments to cure or dry, won’t sling off onto your paint. If you have used most any other tire shine-type product, you know this struggle very well. If you leave Armor All on the tire as-applied, it will literally sling off all over the side of your car. The only way I’ve found to prevent that is to spray it on, leave it for a few minutes, then wipe off the excess. This works well to prevent running and slinging, but also cuts way down on the shine and seems to make what “wet look” is left last a very short time.

Cover All can be left as it and dries almost like a clear coat on your paint, only on your tires. Once it’s dry, it doesn’t run or sling off onto your paint, and it lasts for quite a while. While there may very well be other products out there that do exactly this, I haven’t personally seen or heard of them, so I’m anxious to see if any of our fans have any experiences with Cover All or if you guys know if a comparable product out there on the market.
