Rick From Pawn Stars Tries to Buy His Dream Car, Even if it’s Ruined by Modifications

Even for those who wouldn’t identify themselves as car fans, most will gravitate toward one car model or another. Many times, these automobiles have some sort of emotional attachment. Perhaps we’re speaking of a vehicle that someone had when growing up. On the other hand, maybe it’s a vehicle that they wish they had growing up.

For Rick Harrison of the Pawn Stars, his dream car is a little bit obscure. In fact, we would be willing to bet that there are probably more people in the dark about the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia than people who know about it. However, Rick seems to set his sights on a 1964 model of the car. It really seems like the design bears some sweet nostalgia for Harrison.

As one might expect, in his travels, Rick has probably come across a couple of them. After all, with his massive platform, we’re sure he’s been offered to buy a bit of everything. In this particular bit, we get to watch as he actually goes to check one out.

When approaching the car, it would be important for Rick to remember not to get too emotionally attached. Avoiding attachment can be tough for anyone to do. However, emotions and big financial decisions shouldn’t often be linked. This is probably one of the hardest parts of the job as he needs to make money on every transaction. Every once in a while, we would probably imagine the Pawn Stars guys buy something for themselves. If they do it too much, though, they will quickly find themselves in financial badlands.
