The Race is on to Save Truck and Trailer as the Tide Gets Closer and Closer
When it comes to going off of the beaten path, there’s a ton of fun to be had. Considering all of the toy options these days, the scope of this fun is almost limitless. At an area like the Pismo Beach sand dunes, everything from side-by-sides to dirt bikes can be seen ripping around in what is bound to be a great time.
However, one consideration that might end up causing a little bit of trouble is the machine used to haul the toys. As sand dunes are naturally a very loose and soft surface, let’s just say that tow rigs might tend to get stuck now and then. Being able to remove these rigs that are often fitted with a trailer can prove to be a bit of a challenge. Removing a truck stuck in the sand can really be a hard time. Combine that with the trailer and it’s bound to facilitate quite the effort.
This time, we check in with a situation that starts to get rather intense. Apparently, one truck driver ended up parking in a spot that wasn’t so forgiving. When he tried to drive away in the Dodge Ram, the truck decided that it didn’t want to go anywhere. Normally, this would be a very low-pressure situation that could be solved rather simply with the help of another truck and a strong tow strap. However, when we consider the fact that the tide was rolling in as water was quickly approaching the machine, things got a little bit tense.
Following along with the video below, we get to join in on the situation for ourselves. This truck and trailer combo is surely rather heavy. However, an old school Chevy pickup truck comes to the rescue to make sure the ocean didn’t swallow the rig in question.
