Real Life Treasure Map Shows Last Known Location of $150 Million in LOST Cars
As crazy as it is to think about, there are a lot of things in this world to go unaccounted for. While we would like to think that we have a pretty good grip on what’s floating around out there, it can be really hard to tell what’s lost. This is something that commonly comes up in the world of cars. More specifically, in the world of classic cars, if there are few in existence, the value will go up.
When we see a machine roll across the auction block at one of the storied auctions across the world, we usually hear about some sort of production numbers. Who knows, though, just how many of those original cars exist? Unless the number is small and each example is regularly accounted for, our guess is as good as yours as to how many are left.
What we can say, though, is that there are some cars with insane value that remain unaccounted for. In order to bring a little bit of light to this interesting story, UK car leasing company, Select Car Leasing, decided to release a couple of maps that spell out the last known location of some of the most interesting and valuable cars in the world.
The map that they created accounts for nearly $150,000,000 of automobiles that seem to have simply gone missing. Just as we constantly see missing person cases, these cars also vanished into thin air one day and have never poked their heads out again.
From Cadillac to Ferrari and everything in between, this listing encompasses cars that can be worth nearly $100,000,000. Imagine just walking along and stumbling upon such a machine sitting in a barn. When they talk about once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, this is about as once-in-a-lifetime as it gets.
Good luck with your hunt!
