Roads Littered With Boats After Hurricane Irma Blasts Florida Keys

Now that Hurricane Irma has made landfall in Florida and has been making its presence felt, we’re starting to see the effects of the storm at it as has swept its way in and really managed to put a pounding on people in its path. There’s no telling how much the damage has amounted to as of yet but we’re starting to see some of the ill effects that have come about as result. Hopefully, everyone will be able to band together and make the situation down there get as close to something that resembles normal once again in as short of a period of time as possible.

It’s incredible to see the wake of destruction that has been left behind, and this time specifically focusing on some of the boats that have been lifted up out of the water and strewn about the city, finding themselves sitting in the streets amongst the other wreckage and all of the debris that has made its way through the city. It’s just so devastating to see thousands upon thousands of dollars in damage done every way that you look. We’d imagine that, in this area, you can’t seem to get away from my carnage as mother nature has had her way with the area.

The video below captures just one frame of the situation that has unfortunately unfolded down in Florida.

It would be comforting to be able to say that the whole situation is done and over with now that the storm has passed through, however, it looks like it’s all just starting as the recovery effort has yet to begin. Hopefully, with al the of devastating storms that have recently been heading through the southern part of the United States, we can continue to come together and work toward a greater good in which everyone sees happy days ahead.
