Ryan Martin, Fireball Camaro Dominate Big Tire Class at Outlaw Armageddon 6
In the wake of a national pandemic, it seems like a lot of us are searching for normalcy. In just about every facet of life, including the racing community, we seem to have been experiencing a shift in expectations.
When it comes to drag racing, we’re hard-pressed to find very many, if any schedules that have yet to be affected by COVID-19. This racing season has been pushed back time and time again with some events being canceled altogether. On the other hand, though, we will definitely take the racing where we can get it.
Outlaw Armageddon has always been an event that has been known to provide some interesting action. This past weekend, Outlaw Armageddon 6 was able to get underway, pandemic or not. With lots of cars on hand, the racing was as intense as usual.
One look at the big tire category would lead us to believe that we were definitely in for a treat. As the racing pushed forward, Ryan Martin in the Fireball Chevrolet Camaro really seemed to be on his A-game. Before we know it, Martin would end up making his way all the way to the finals.
It was here that he would face one of his most difficult challenges yet as the Fireball would line up with another Camaro in Golden Gorilla as piloted by DeWayne Mills.
Mills has really made his presence felt across all sorts of drag racing scenes, including most recently, the no-prep scene. In other words, this final matchup was about to be one for the ages. By following along with the video below, straight from the Fireball Camaro YouTube channel, we get to see the day’s action for ourselves as it turns into night and really gets the adrenaline pumping.
It’s always good to watch a little bit of racing to break up the madness in the world!
