How to shadow a toolbox without tracing or cutting!
If you’re anything like yours truly, you make an art out of losing tools and making sure that your toolbox is a disorganized mess. Personally, no matter how hard I try, it’s always a struggle to keep tools in a place where they are easily accessible and you can find them every time.
While this method might not completely knock out the problem of lost tools, it can most certainly help by adding a little bit of organization to your toolbox to make sure that everything has its own home which could possibly make things a lot easier to find so you know exactly when one piece is missing.
Through a process that is known as shadowing, you’re able to spray foam into your toolbox as to create an outline of each and every tool that you own once that foam hardens. It’s kind of similar to those small toolboxes that have a set spot for every tool except this is only much grander scale.
With some tape and a little bit of spray foam, you could do this one at home for yourself. It might take a little bit of trimming and attention to detail but when it’s all finished, your toolbox will be the envy of all of your buddies. Check out the video below that shows how to shadow a toolbox for yourself and tell us if this is something that you have done or plan on doing in the near future.
