She Got Impatient, Made Her Own Tesla Truck and it’s AWESOME!
As one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the world, it’s hard to not be fascinated by Tesla. Not only is the automaker cracking into the electric technology realm, but they’re implementing all other sorts of cool stuff as well. With Elon Musk at the helm, who knows where this ship is headed? We’ve already seen an autonomous system in place and even Sentry mode!
The one thing that we do know for certain about the direction of this ship is that there’s no truck, at least not yet. We’ve been getting teased about the potential of a Tesla-powered truck for quite some time. As of now, we’ve been left in the dark on any substantial official information. Because of this, one raring and ready Tesla enthusiast by the name of Simone Giertz decided to wait no longer. With plenty of planning and a little bit of help, she would begin to embark on a journey that not too many people saw coming.
She even beat Elon Musk to the punch when it came to producing a Tesla truck. There aren’t too many people who can say that. In fact, it’s only her!
As one could imagine, it’s certainly not an easy endeavor. Anything worth achieving usually isn’t. However, that wouldn’t stop Simone Giertz from embarking on this journey for the most utility ever packed into a Tesla. Starting with a Tesla Model 3, lots of calculated moves were made. Before long, we find something that looks like a sort of modern-day Chevrolet El Camino with a touch more class.
Seriously, this thing looks like something that Tesla could have done themselves. With a DIY job, we would expect it to be rough around the edges but this thing is finely tuned! By following along with the video below, we’re able to catch up with the Truckla in all of its glory. There were certainly some speed bumps along the way but a project wouldn’t be fun without a few of those, anyway!
