Side-By-Side Given the Royal Treatment With 1000+ HP Billet 2JZ
Out there in the world of YouTube, there are certainly some very interesting builds to sink our teeth into. It doesn’t matter if it’s a car, truck, or even a side-by-side. If it has wheels on it, there is a very good chance that someone will take their hard-earned money, time, and elbow grease to make it better.
This time, we get to check in with SXSBlog as they give us the opportunity to dive into a build of theirs that is incredibly potent. This thing is really putting out enough steam to make us feel a rush of adrenaline, even from this side of the screen.
At a first glance, the outside looks like a regular side-by-side. Aside from a trick paint scheme, custom roll cage, and some wheels and tires that are aftermarket, there isn’t too much to indicate just how awesome this thing is on the inside. However, as we dig just a little bit, we find some components that really attempt to turn up the volume on the entire concept of a side-by-side.
Tuners might find something familiar as they check out what’s powering the machine. Spinning those wheels at a high rate of speed, we find a billet 2JZ. In addition, a big whistling turbo is enough to really crank up the volume and make this thing scream!
By following along with the video below, we get to join in with the machine as it hits the dyno to show us just how much steam it can really make. As the power makes it to the ground, we eventually find that it’s capable of over 1000 hp! Even in the landscape where 1000 hp seems to be a number that’s just thrown around, this time, it’s especially prevalent since this thing can’t weigh very much at all.
Oh yeah, it does seem as if the crew had a little bit of an issue getting the tires to stay planted on the dyno rollers as well! Now that’s some serious muscle.
