Speed Society Sweepstakes 16 Winner Deck Reichert Celebrates His Win In Style, And Meets His New Car “Redline” With Justin Bell

For those who enter our hugely popular sweepstakes, you likely know that along with offering our winners a badass car or $50,000 cash, we also bring them out to Speed Society headquarters to pick up their ride or deliver their car in style! The Speed Society VIP Experience is a huge part of what makes these giveaways so special, because we spend a couple of days getting to know our winners, instead of just handing them the keys or a check and sending them on their way.

The Redline GTR was one of our most popular sweepstakes yet, and when Deck Reichert was chosen as the winner, he had no hesitation in choosing this 800 horsepower rocketship, so we flew him and his son, Flint, out to pick up the car and spend a few days getting acquainted with it. Of course, we had a few surprises in store for Deck and Flint while they were in town.

We sent Deck out with our own in-house professional driver Mike, who helped him get acquainted with the car, then grabbed lunch before hitting the parking lot with the drift trikes and the 50cc dirt bike for a little stunt riding expo right outside the back door.

The next day, everybody loaded up and headed up north to Willow Springs Raceway, where we met up with none other than elite wheelman and media personality Justin Bell. Justin and Mike hit the track together, Justin in our current sweepstakes car and Mike in Redline, to show Deck the proper line and technique before turning him loose on the track to get a feel for his new ride.

After Deck took some laps in the car, Flint also got to take the car around the historic raceway, getting a lesson from Mike while getting accustomed to 800 all-wheel horsepower. The Reicherts headed back to Colorado in their car and the crew hit the road back to San Diego, where they immediately began brainstorming the next VIP Experience for the Vengeance Corvette winner!
