Street Outlaws Daddy Dave Talks VIN Cars, What IS a Streetcar?

The world of racing wouldn’t be as entertaining as it is without a little bit of drama here and there. Sure, some folks might complain about it getting old and after a while and would just like for all parties involved to just shut up and race, however, every once in a while, even those people will find themselves listening into the latest debate and maybe even tossing their two cents into the ring. Sometimes, the argument just gets too interesting to not listen in to, especially when you have some of the heaviest hitters in the game giving their opinions on it.

This time, the topic of discussion is VIN cars. Essentially, the concept here is that these vehicles retain their original VIN number as they came off of the assembly line in Detroit and also managed to hang on to a variety of different steel body panels that are supposed to make them more of a streetcar. To many, this kind of vehicle is the pure definition of what a streetcar might actually be classified as. It’s something that will never be unanimously agreed upon, however, I’m going to wager that you can find a pretty good group of people who will say that this is the way that it should be.

If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll hear the latest from Daddy Dave and Wiley as they chime in on what exactly they think it is that a car should have onboard to be qualified as a streetcar. I’m sure that opinions will definitely get to flying here and not everybody is going to agree on the matter so be sure to chime in with what exactly you think it is that a vehicle that’s classified as a streetcar should have onboard in order to maintain that status.
