Supercharger Explodes! Third Gen Firebird Named Hateful Has Twin Screw Issues!
When it comes to pushing a high-performance machine to the limits, no matter what the setting may be, there are a lot of ducks that have to be in a line to make sure that your setup is running optimally and even then, some pretty insane stuff can tend to unfold.

We’re not sure exactly what went down here but what we can see is that when this third-generation Pontiac Firebird that goes by the name of “Hateful” zipped down the lanes during this race, the car ended up having a sizable issue that would end up with a dramatic finish.
As the car was under a full load, it looks like the supercharger wasn’t quite cooperating with the rest of the engine as it blew to pieces, making a fireball of an explosion and sending a piece of the hood flying as the car rocketed down the lane at what we’re assuming was a pretty stout speed to begin with.
Check out the video down below as NXGonzo was able to film the pass and capture the action as bits of Pontiac went flying! This most certainly is a situation that you wouldn’t want to be tied up in but it most certainly could have also been a lot worse as well.
