The Ford Explorer Full of Drugs Sold at Carmax
When someone says the used car market really brings a lot of diverse vehicles to the table and you never know what you’re going to get, red flags might start popping up, making you ponder the mechanical condition of a car and other features alike. However, if you’ve ever been in the used car business, a phrase like this might have a whole different meaning to you. This time, we dive into a story that tells you a little bit more about what we’re talking about here and how some of the vehicles that get circulated into the used car market really are a lot more than meets the eye.
In this one, we check out another story from the VinWiki YouTube channel as they give us a little bit of a taste of some of the things that have gone on behind the scenes at automotive reseller giant, Carmax. As it turns out, Carmax has some pretty high standards for what they will and will not sell on their lot, however, from time to time, as you can imagine with so many cars to process, there might be a thing or two that ends up getting past them and ends up creating quite an interesting story. After all, nobody is perfect and when looking at usedcars, there are a lot of aspects to keep an eye on.
If you follow along in the video below, you’ll learn a little bit about a story revolving around a Ford Explorer that maybe had a little bit more of a backstory than the folks at Carmax had originally anticipated. When a buyer ended up bringing the vehicle back for a rattling noise in the dashboard, the diagnostic crew would end up finding a lot more than met their eye originally as they would stumble across a whole stash of drugs. It makes you wonder exactly what would’ve happened to this vehicle’s owner if they got pulled over with all of those drugs in their possession.
