The Former ‘Sons of Guns’ star Will Hayden Gets 3rd Life Sentence, Plus Another 10 years.
The former reality star and Red jacket Firearms founder Will Hayden has been hit with another life sentence last week in connection with a third rape conviction. Hayden, who starred in the show Sons of Guns, had already been sentenced to two life sentences plus 40 years and has now been given a third life sentence for the latest conviction plus an additional ten years for a conviction of aggravated incest.
“We thought that this was the best resolution to this to protect the victims from having to endure any additional trauma by having to come and testify in court once again,” said Assistant District Attorney David Guidry. “But yet it satisfies our obligation to the public for public safety to make sure that this defendant stays in jail for the rest of his life.”
Hayden will carry out his sentences at the infamous Louisiana State Penitentiary, the largest prison in the nation. Better known simply as Angola, the prison sits on some 18,000 acres about 50 miles northwest of Baton Rouge, the prison is known for harsh living conditions and its massive prisoner population, currently houses 6,300 inmates within it’s maximum security confines. Bordered on three sides by the mighty Mississippi River, Angola is one of the most formidable prisons in the world, and will certainly not provide Hayden a cushy existence for the rest of his days.
Hayden will have no chance at parole, meaning he will die within the confines of the LSP unless his convictions are overturned, which seems unlikely given the number of charges he has been convicted of.

The revelation of the charges against Hayden led to the immediate cancellation of the show, which ran for five seasons on Discovery Channel. We’ll bring you any new information about this case as it continues to unfold.
