The Intelligent Speed Bump! No More Getting Angry at Speed bumps!

I think we can all agree that we hate speed bumps. Their very existence is to cause us to do the one thing we rarely want to do: slow down.

For as long as I can remember, speed bumps have remained relatively unchanged, but that could be about to change with the invention of the Intelligent Speed Bump. Filled with what most of us know as non-Newtonian fluid, a compound that takes on the properties of a solid when it’s stuck hard or pressure is applied quickly, while remaining fluid if pressure is applied more slowly. We’ve all seen this fluid in YouTube videos where it dances around inside speaker cones and takes on almost lifelike properties.

So with these intelligent speed bumps, if you hit them at the posted speed limit, they should feel like little more than a rumble strip, but hit it going faster and it will feel like, well, a speed bump. We’d love to see these implemented all over the country as soon as possible, please!
