The King of GT500s – 2000+hp Devil’s Reject Turbo Monster
If it’s quarter mile action that you are looking for, look no further than the Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals at Maryland International Raceway. This event brings cars from far and wide to compete in a quarter mile throwdown that has everyone on hand thoroughly entertained.
If you have ever been out to the event, it’s absolutely no secret that the car known as “The Devil’s Reject” is most certainly a crowd favorite year after year and after checking out this BigKleib34 video, it isn’t really hard to see why. This brutal Shelby GT500 is nothing short of a master of the strip.
Cranking out over 2000 hp through a turbo setup, the Ford Mustang piloted by Brian Devilbiss is anything but slow as it manages to barrel its way down the drag strip to impressive times nestled deep in the sevens in the quarter mile at speeds nearing 190 mph. That surely is a far cry from where this car started when it rolled off of the assembly line!
Get a load of the car in the video below from all angles and tell us what you think of this champion in between the concrete walls. The Devil’s Reject really does punish the concrete on the way to the quarter mile finish line. This thing is a feat to be admired!
