The Quad Turbo LSX 454 is a Real Thing and it Sounds Nasty!

Four hundred fifty-four cubic inches. Four turbochargers. That’s one snail for every 113 cubic inches of this wicked sounding LSX engine. It’s hard to tell what kind of car this badass bullet resides in, but it doesn’t really matter because the video is just about THAT SOUND!

This cold start shows off the insane cam in this LS powerplant, chopping up like crazy. The engine bay gets a nice walk around too, giving us a nice close up of the foursome of turbochargers and a ton of shine. Polished and chrome abound under the hood, from the valve covers to the intake to the charge pipes and turbos themselves, and what isn’t shined up is black, making for a gorgeous engine bay!

Hopefully we can find more footage – and more information about the combo – to bring you guys. We’re certainly interested in what kind of power this thing makes, as well as what kind of car it’s in!
