Thief Caught in the Act in SRT8 Jeep – He Picked the Wrong One
If you ask us, it’s absolutely never a good idea to take something that doesn’t belong to you. However, it seems like this suspect had his mind made up that he was going to go through peoples’ vehicles one night to try and find some goodies. Apparently, this individual decided that he wanted to go from car to car, playing a guessing game to see if anybody had left their vehicle unlocked.
Naturally, somebody like this tries to operate under the cover of night, moving from door to door with the aim of not being detected. However, in 2020, there are so many cameras everywhere that this seems like it’s almost impossible to do. That’s a lesson that this criminal would learn the hard way one night when he pulled on the wrong door handle.
According to the owner of the SRT Jeep pictured in this video, he simply made a mistake. After locking up the Jeep for the night, the owner says that he accidentally touched the key fob a second time. This would open the doors to the SUV up and would figuratively open up the door for one person who was a little bit too nosy. However, as the criminal made his way inside of the vehicle, security cameras would capture the whole thing and alert the owner as to what was going on outside.
This is when the owner decided to take matters into his own hands, arming himself before heading into the street to confront the man who was now inside of the Jeep. It’s not exactly clear if this criminal made off with anything. However, a message was definitely sent as he was sent scurrying into the night. We would probably guess that this guy isn’t going to be pulling on that door handle again anytime soon.
