This AWD 7 Second Honda Civic EG is Worth a Staggering $150,000
When you think of high-performance Honda Civic, you probably picture a machine with some slicks on the front and skinnies on the back, trying to dig down deep and struggling to grab traction as front-wheel-drive really proves to be a difficult platform to work with. See, when all of that weight transfers to the back, there’s none left to force down the drive wheels in the front. However, that doesn’t stop some of these machines from going incredibly fast. This Honda owner, however, decided that he wasn’t going to deal with all the hassle of using a front wheel drive configuration.
Instead, the car that is known as the “Section 8” Honda Civic Has undergone some intensely extensive modification, taking the original machine and throwing it a whole bunch of other our Honda parts from various other vehicles in order to convert this front wheel drive hatchback to an all-wheel-drive monster, one that should have a little bit easier time getting off of the line, making faster and more consistent passes down the quarter mile in order to show that it’s a worthy competitor.
Now, this car might be deep into the seven-second range as it sports a turbocharged K20 engine that goes well with its all-wheel-drive configuration, however, it really begs the question of how much something like this is actually worth. Beings as there’s not very much out there for comparison’s sake, it’s really hard to place a market value on this car, but if what the owner wants for the car comes to fruition, this Civic might just be one of the most expensive to ever be sold as he thinks that the car is worthy of a $150,000 price tag.
