This Lowrider Trend Would Make Unloading Your Truck So Easy!

Lowriders have been a part of the car culture for decades now, and they have brought some new and unique trends to the automotive world that, love them or hate them, certainly make their rides stand out in a crowd. From hydraulics to wire wheels to incredible candy paint jobs, these cars are all about the flash and panache and the owners know how to get attention.

One of the most popular trends to come from the lowrider scene is hydraulics, which are generally used on cars suspension to raise and lower the ride height at will. They can also be used to make the car hop and ride with one wheel in the air, among other stances and actions. We’ve seen video of cars with extreme hydraulic systems actually stand up almost completely vertical in competitions, showing just how powerful the cylinders can be. This guy, however, decided to add the hydraulics to the bed of his lowrider pickup, turning it into a stand-along dancer that swings and bounces like crazy!

Of course, the first thing we thought was “that would make it really easy to clean out the bed of your truck really quickly”, but it’s clear the truck’s owner is more interested in putting on a show for onlookers than hauling cargo in the truck’s bed. Either way, it’s actually pretty cool to see how car owners, regardless of their chosen niche, apply these ideas to their rides in new and unique ways.

From bouncing high into the air to lifting the bed and making it dance, the lowrider culture has plenty of show for those who are willing to take a look. These guys put countless hours and dollars into their projects and are proud to show them off, and many of them are truly works of art. Of course, like any niche, there will always been those guys who cut corners just to try to keep up with the trendsetters. Those guys always stand out too, but for the wrong reasons!
