Tom Brady Tosses Super Bowl Trophy From a Boat During Celebratory Boat Parade
Unless you’re living under a rock, at this point you’ve heard that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won a Super Bowl as lead by the legendary quarterback, Tom Brady. At the age of 43, Brady is still throwing punches and this time, it’s with a different team. As he continues to cement his legacy, we can’t help but wait to see what exactly the future might hold as Brady is not only defying his haters but father time as well.
One of the cool things about playing for a team in Florida is that the weather seems about perfect all year round. At the end of the day, it almost seems like this is a move that Brady should have made years ago. Hanging out in a tropical climate like this seems like a walk in the park compared to the brutal winters of Boston.
If you ask us, the Super Bowl parade is just another layer of icing on the cake that comes with playing in a climate like this. Back in Boston, the middle of February could tend to be pretty cold. Spending several hours on a parade definitely doesn’t sound like something that is a ton of fun in the northeast. However, down in Tampa Bay, the Buccaneers were able to have a boat parade to celebrate their Super Bowl win.
There have been lots of videos surfacing from this parade but one, in particular, has been making its rounds. No matter what the social media platform, it seems like a variety of different angles have been captured of a toss that was heard around the world.
During the middle of the parade, Brady was clinging onto one of the most respected trophies in all of sports. When Brady wanted to pass the trophy on to one of his teammates, he decided to do the unthinkable and threw it to a different boat.
We can see the video below as the toss ends up successful. It almost makes us think that maybe there is a replica standing in for the real trophy during events like these. It also brings up the time last year when Rob Gronkowski decided to use the trophy as a baseball bat, leaving a big dent in it. Maybe these guys have just won so many of these trophies at this point that the new one is just another piece of hardware.
