Trackhawk With Basic Mods is an Absolute Monster on the Track

In this day and age, we have access to some of the craziest performance that the world has ever seen. Straight out of the box, some of these platforms are a force to be reckoned with. When looking at how far the performance industry has come in just the last couple of years, it’s really an eye-opener. It speaks volumes to the swift evolution of these machines. However, what might be even more impressive is how easy it is the make them go even faster. With basic aftermarket modifications, these beasts can take major strides.

As a truck fanatic, I might be a little bit biased when I say that the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is certainly one of my favorites. It seems as if Justin Keith, one of the owners of Street Car Takeover events, thinks the same way. In fact, he liked the machine so much that he decided to add one to his very own personal fleet. Under the hood, from the factory, the SUV would boast to 707 hp. If that number sounds familiar it’s because the engine also belongs to Mopar’s Hellcat family. However, as the owner of a racing event, factory performance just wouldn’t do.

By following along with the video below from Justin aka StangKilr’s YouTube channel, we watch the Jeep go to war. With just a couple of basic modifications including bolt-ons and a little bit of E85, the Jeep smashes its way deep into the 10-second range. On its way down the lanes at Street Car Takeover in Bristol, it also manages to take out some impressive competition. Just to name a few vehicles that it goes head-to-head with, we see a modified Trailblazer SS and a Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye. This is one that you’re not going to want to miss!
