Icy roads can get the best of even the most capable drivers, especially when freezing weather strikes somewhere unexpectedly, like Texas, where the weather is typically fairly temperate.

Seeing a massive eighteen wheeler hit the ice on this bridge and go sliding unceremoniously off into the ditch, only to realize another truck has already ran into he same section of median, should give you some idea of just how treacherous these roadways really were. After the big rig snafu, we see a blue pickup truck slam the front bumper into the wall of the bridge after being warned about the ice ahead.

This just goes to show how woefully dangerous icy conditions can be and how quickly things can get out of hand when drivers continue to try to drive on slick roadways.
